Benjamin Case is Chief Executive Officer and Fundraising Guru for Focused On Fundraising, Inc. He helps nonprofits raise more money by advising on strategic planning, fundraising, and communications. Mr. Case has served in the nonprofit sector as an advancement professional and leader for over four decades.
"Asking for the Major Gift" – A presentation and discussion on how to prepare to ask for a major gift from a prospect/donor, including: a simple and proven structure for formulating the gift request, the best practices in making the major gift ask, overcoming objections from the donor, and negotiating to close the gift.
"Habits of Highly Successful Fundraisers" – A presentation and discussion on the habits of highly successful fundraisers derived from Ben Case’s research, interviews of many highly successful fundraisers, and his more than 42 years of experience as a fundraiser, manager, and nonprofit leader.
