About the event
Adam Eggemeyer is the Regional Gift Strategist for The Nature Conservancy, the world’s largest environmental nonprofit, and part of a Gift Planning team responsible for more than $200M annually in non-cash gifts and commitments. In this role, he works with trustees, supporters and colleagues collaboratively on outright, blended, and deferred giving and strategy, especially regarding gifts of complex assets like stock, retirement assets, and real estate.
Prior to joining The Conservancy in March of 2016, Adam spent nearly a decade at Lutheran Hour Ministries, an international charity working in more than 35 countries doing religious and humanitarian work. At LHM, Adam most recently served as both the Associate Director, Planned Giving & Real Estate and the Executive Vice President of The LHM Foundation.
Before making the shift to philanthropy, Adam worked in financial services with Edward Jones and State Farm, holding his investment and insurance licenses. Adam is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and has earned a B.A. in Psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and an M.B.A. from Webster University in St. Louis. He currently resides in Southern Illinois with his wife and three children, and serves as the Vice President of the Board of Trustees for the Saint Louis Planned Giving Council.
