About the event
We invite you to attend a panel discussion featuring experts on the topic of Ethics in Fundraising. Join us as we welcome Tom Borrego, Mike Wescott, Joan Moore, and Jessica Treadwell as they share their combined wealth of knowledge for both new and seasoned professionals in development.
Tom Borrego:
Borrego’s career in philanthropy and nonprofit development spans decades. A lawyer by training, he earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Washburn University School of Law in 1993 and a Bachelor of Science from Wichita State University in 1989. His early work in law school volunteer boards led him to explore philanthropy, where he gained experience in special events, corporate giving, and major gift development. Tom Borrego currently serves as Vice President of Advancement and Special Assistant to the President at the Butler Community College Foundation.
