YWCA Northeast Kansas is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who can build on the organization’s successes as a leader in innovative services to break the cycle of intimate partner violence and drive anti-racist transformation. The YWCA Northeast Kansas has an operating budget of $3.3 Million. The new leader will work with a committed and growing staff of over 50, a talented senior leadership team of 5, and 15 dedicated members of the Board of Directors to advance the mission of the organization and continue to deepen the YWCA’s impact in the community. The successful candidate will be an experienced leader of anti-racism and social justice initiatives and efforts, a strong staff leader and builder of healthy organizational work cultures, and a confident and skilled fundraiser who displays a clear commitment to the organization’s mission and ability to communicate the story and value of the organization to funders and the community at large.

This position will work toward promoting gifts to benefit the College of Applied Studies. This individual will be responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of prospective and present donors to Wichita State University.

With more than 45 staff working in direct fundraising, accounting and gift records, research, communications, donor relations, and support roles, the WSU Foundation is the premier fundraising operation in the region. This fiscal year the WSUFAE raised more than $53 million and we are gearing up for our next campaign. This is an exciting time at WSU with the expansion of both programs and facilities.

The Wichita Public Library Foundation (WPLF) Board of Directors seeks a President/CEO interested in a rewarding career mobilizing private financial support for the Wichita Public Library to create equity in our community.
The President/CEO of the WPLF oversees the organization's development operations, financial systems, and endowment assets. The position requires the CEO to build relationships in the community to engage, identify, cultivate, and solicit gifts from individuals, foundations, and businesses. The CEO is responsible for every aspect of the development program, including major gifts, mass appeals, deferred gifts, and occasionally capital and endowment campaigns. The CEO is responsible for the selection and management of all foundation staff. The CEO routinely works with the Chair of the WPLF Board of Directors and the board's committees and is responsible for Board engagement. The CEO collaborates closely with the Director of the Libraries and other senior Library staff.

The Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer (ED/CEO) will provide energetic leadership to fulfill the ECF’s mission and goals. The ED/CEO serves as the spokesperson and face of the ECF to donors, grantees, and the greater Emporia community at large. The ED/CEO draws on a broad-based combination of experiences and skills to promote philanthropy, lead grant making, and manage a complex nonprofit. Under the direction of the Board of Directors, the ED/CEO builds on the existing management and organizational structure, plus leads the implementation of the strategic plan. The ED/CEO is responsible for the overall management of the ECF, including efficient grant making procedures, the oversight of investment, and fundraising while keeping the public aware of activities and programs. The ED/CEO reports to the ECF Board of Directors. A bachelor’s degree is required with a minimum of five years in management.
