The Director of Development at the Wichita Art Museum (WAM) is a dynamic leadership role responsible for
designing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy that supports the museum’s growth,
sustainability, and mission to “connect people, ideas, and art through remarkable experiences.” Reporting to the
museum’s Director/CEO, the Director of Development oversees all aspects of fundraising, including individual and
corporate giving, membership programs, grants, planned giving, and special events. This individual identifies,
cultivates, solicits, and stewards donors, working closely with the Board of Trustees, major patrons, leadership
staff, and the Director/CEO. The Director of Development supervises and mentors development and event staff
and is a member of the museum’s leadership team.

(Doing Business As: The Women’s Network – TWN) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to change the lives of women who have survived domestic violence relationships, in Wichita, Kansas. The Women’s Network provides programming to help survivors of trauma develop economic security and personal wellbeing through a job readiness and work retention program that helps women thrive in work and in life. The Women’s Network manages the regional affiliate of Dress for Success, an international not-forprofit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women succeed.

Major Gifts Officer
Newman University

​​The Major Gifts Officer provides direct support to the development function and activities of Newman University with an emphasis on planning, organizing and executing fundraising efforts as well as providing some internal management. This position will manage a portfolio of prospects capable of financially supporting the University through major gifts and foster a culture of philanthropy to ensure that fund development is executed in keeping with the organization’s core values, vision, and mission. Some travel is required.
Position is full time (40hrs) and works 12 months per year. Paid time off and benefits starting after first 30 days. Approximately 20 days off with pay for observed holidays/breaks with an additional 2 weeks of vacation time accrued per year. Tuition waiver for employee, spouse and eligible dependents after one year of employment.
