Executive Director

The Executive Director (ED) at AgapéCare Cradle is the face of our organization. The ED’s primary responsibilities are to promote and fundraise for Agape amongst the community, and to shepherd Agape’s leadership team.
In order to promote and fundraise for Agape, the ED oversees Agape's established, annual fundraising event (Shoot Some Clay, Do Some Good), pursues grants and donations to further our mission, and networks amongst the local community. This part-time role requires a commitment to our mission, excellent communication, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with our sponsors, donors and partner organizations.
With a passion for supporting grieving families and strong leadership skills, the ED works in tandem with the Missions and Administrative Directors to fulfill the primary tasks of our organization. The ED reports to the President and Board of Directors on a regular basis and spearheads monthly Board Meetings.

It is expected that the amount raised by GSKH will increase in future years as the Director of Fund Development systematically and effectively strengthens the council’s overall fundraising capacity. Candidate should have at least five years of directly related work experience with a minimum of three years leadership experience in fund development; an excellent track record in major gifts and annual funding; demonstrated ability to foster cross-functional collaboration, inclusion, and integration for success; proven grant-writing expertise; and strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
